A member of St. Saviour's is 100 years young today!
Vera Renshaw was born in Plymouth, Devon on 27 January 1910. She has one daughter Sylvia, three grandchildren and one great grandchild who live in and around Bridge of Allan. Vera has celebrated today in considerable style as you can see from the photos. She’s had a constant stream of visitors including the Provost who brought a bouquet of flowers with best wishes from Stirling. Tonight there’s a party in Abbeyfield where she lives, then on Sunday a family celebration lunch in The Royal Hotel. Well done Vera...

Meditation is not something new, rather it is central to the Christian experience and deeply rooted in Christian tradition. Meditation is the prayer of silence and listening. This is the aim given by the Psalmist: “Be still and know that I am God.”
