Baptism/Christening
When someone is baptized it is a sign that they are beginning to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and that they are joining with others as disciples in God’s Church. This can happen at any stage of life, from small babies to adults. Baptism is a gift from God and is open to all. You do not need to be a member of the church in order to have a child Baptised. We are always happy to explain what is involved in the service and what it all means.
To arrange a baptism service please contact the Rector. He is usually available to speak about Baptism after Sunday services or alternatively contact him by phone. These services usually take place on a Sunday during the 10 o’clock service.
